Increasing Engagement on Posts

As you invest time and energy on your social media, you want to make sure that it is not just a one way street. There are some simple things you can do for increasing engagement.

If you have a business with thousands of people coming in each day but nobody buying anything, you wouldn’t consider that successful.

Similarly, if you have a social media platform but nobody is interacting, that is not ideal!

I have found that there are a few different types of posts that have been the most successful for me to be able to get engagement and I am going to share those with you.

As you implement these tips, you will be able to increase engagement on your platforms.

The first way to begin increasing engagement on posts is to share helpful information. You are a professional and you have a wealth of knowledge in your specialty area.

Things that seem common to you are not known by the general public and you need to use this to your advantage.

Share about the procedures that you perform. Share the benefits of treatments you offer, and how what you do can provide value to people’s lives.

You can also think about the most common questions that people ask you and use your platform as a way to answer those questions.

These types of posts will be ones that people save which helps the algorithm in your favor. They also keep people coming back to your page because they value what you have to share.

Another way to build engagement is to share your own stories. People love when you post personal things and they get a glimpse into who you are.

When people see you post things about travel, family, or your personal life it makes them feel like they are a part of your journey. They can relate to you better.

This also builds trust which makes them more likely to trust you for a procedure.

These types of posts also keep bringing people back to your page. This will allow them to also see the posts that you share which are more business related. While they may not comment or engage on those posts as often, they are still seeing the content and learning.

Sharing more personal posts also allows your followers to feel more like friends than fans. You do not have to share everything, just what you feel comfortable with, but a little can go a long way.

You can also build engagement by asking for opinions.

People go on social media to talk so when you give them an opportunity, they will take advantage. When you provide prompts for them, it gets your audience talking.

You can show up to the conversation and it makes them feel like a friend! They will feel seen and valued.

These are all great ways to create content that will begin increasing engagement on posts. Get people talking on your social media posts and they feel valued and seen.

Have a beautiful day!
